Coolsculpting – Reduce Your Localized Fat Non-surgically

CoolSculpting is a non-invasive technique used to remove localized fats on specific body parts which has not disappeared even with good exercise and proper dieting. The procedure uses cryolipolysis technique or controlled cooling to freeze and eliminate targeted fat cells. The procedure can remove fat on love handles, abdomen, thighs and butt areas. You can have this fat removal process if you are an adult in good health and with stable body weight. CoolSculpting should be done by a board-certified plastic surgeon or a well trained and certified physician for your well-being. Skin Deep Medical Spa is registered under Dr. Bloch, a renowned Chicago plastic surgeon and his trained staff will help you get the right treatment that will suit your goals.

During the procedure:

A vacuum applicator is placed on the skin to bring it into contact with cooling panels. Patients feel a cold sensation for a few minutes, as it produces an anesthetic effect. The fat is cooled for up to an hour.

Does CoolSculpting has any risks?

CoolSculpting fat treatment has a variety of responses in most individuals many of which can be described as mild. When the cryolipolysis technique is in action in the effort to freeze or destroy fat cells, patients report a range of mild sensations which include tingling, numbness and mild cramps arising from the pressure against the cooling panels. Treated areas may also have some bruising and redness. Most of these procedures will however, dissipate within a week. Having CoolSculpting fat reduction procedure done by a certified physician will reduce most of these complications and other potential risks.

CoolSculpting outcome

CoolSculpting has no downtime considering that it is a non-invasive procedure. You will go home on the same day after treatment and be able to resume work or school. It may take up to 2 to 4 months for cryolipolysis results to fully refine as this is the period which the body needs to metabolize the destroyed fat cells from treated areas. You may need additional CoolSculpting sessions to achieve your aesthetic goals. That should however, be determined with the help of your physician. A good lifestyle featuring regular exercise and healthy diet can prolong your good results.
