Understanding Liposonix…

Understanding Liposonix…

Liposonix is a non-invasive fat reduction device built based on the ultrasound technology so as to bring about custom contouring reduction of fat. This device’s ultrasound energy is usually focused on the subcutaneous layer under the skin to eliminate any unwanted fatty cells that are around the waist. Once this fat is eliminated, one remains with that slim shape that he/she desires.

How the device works

As said, this device uses a very special technology known as High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) to bring about the death of fate cells in a very safe as well as effective way. When the ultrasound energy is directed at the skin and works in such a way that it avoids any trauma as well as burns to the skin.

What happens to the fat after the Liposonix

Once the fats are disrupted by Liposonix, they end up attracting the body’s inflammatory as well as the healing responses. Usually, there are special cells called macrophages that engulf both fat and cellular debris after which they transport the fat via the venous as well as lymphatic system and then to the liver. This usually takes 2-4 weeks.
